There's no denying the quality of design and artistry shown in something made by hand. On the first Saturday in March, April, May and June, in downtown Carlsbad Village, join us in celebrating 40 local and regional artisans and their skill in a particular craft. Find handmade, vintage, upcycled, and unique goods at this crafter's showcase that will highlight the crafter's creativity in woodworking, leather work, 3D functional art, natural jewelry, beading, fabric creations, re-purposed materials, artisan foods, and much more. 

Juried Art and Handcrafted Market Place
From 9 am to 4 pm, the St. Michael's by-the Sea Episcopal Church will turn into an open-air makers market. St. Michael's was built in 1884 and its historic buildings and campus are a beautiful backdrop to this outdoor artisan market. All applicants are juried and only self-designed and handcrafted items will exhibit in this venue. The Makers Market is a free community event.
