Please join Terry Lightfoot for the opening reception of her ‘Dreaming Awake’ exhibition on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at The Foundry Artist Studios at New Village Arts (NVA). 

‘Dreaming Awake’ is a collection of personal work from Foundry Artist Terry Lightfoot which features digital collages made from found imagery and photography. Her art creates a surreal world of found and transformed images, puzzle pieces that form a symbolic world reflecting our own. She feels the images spring from a dialog between her subconscious and her conscious self, having personal themes grounded in today’s cultural milieu of corporate governing bodies and seemingly hapless humans whose ultimate nature is of a powerful and infinite transcendence. The results create holistic, bold, and impactful photo manipulations that are produced as signed limited edition archival quality art prints on paper.
